Lennaert is a Dutch portrait painter based in Rotterdam.
His work primarily reflects his love for painting itself and his fascination for the human face. He started his career working as an illustrator. After that, he became active as a muralist and street art painter. Many of those murals were huge portraits. He now paints mainly on canvas.
Lennaert is Resident Artist for Winsor & Newton and active member of The Fine Art Collective. He was one of the founders of Monkidoe, a street art collective in Rotterdam.
He worked for clients like: Vpro Gids, Eneco, Rotown, Central Post and Gemeente Rotterdam.
