STYLE: Comics in "Atomic Style"
Michiel de Jong is a Dutch top illustrator.
After his study illustration, Michiel’s eloquent ink lines caught the attention of the best comic artists. In this same period his illustrations started to appear in magazines, books and advertisements.
He made the comic “Ode aan Wilhelm” in collaboration with Milan Hulsing, which was rewarded in the year 2000 for the PTT Post incentive award.
In 2008 Michiel was rewarded for the Dutch best comic album award “Operatie Hanuman”. Again written by his longtime collaborator Milan Hulsing.
Michiel has worked for happy clients as: Shell, Bayer, KPN, Fuji and many many more.
