Designer

Luuk is an artist who lives and works in Rotterdam.

When working on a project - whether it's a painting, sculpture, mural or interior project - he searches and shifts his point of view until it's absolutely right. With mathematic precision he will find the perfect grid and interacting colours.

Throughout his career he developed a strong sense of colour and shapes. His recent paintings are composed of hard, geometric shapes.

Although the reference to his earlier works - involving street art influences and iconic cartoon-like figures - can still be seen in the powerful explosions of form and colour he uses today.

As an illustrator, Luuk Bode worked for clients like Golden Earring, Coca Cola, BNN and several national newpapers.

Description

When people today think of ‘earth’, everyone will immediately think of environmental problems and climate change. For years this concern was an issue for hippies. Now it’s clear to everyone that they were way ahead of their time…

Hippie culture was very rich, the psychedelic rock posters and underground comix of the sixties had an enormous impact on design aesthetics. The comics from back ten proved they had a sense of humour about themselves.

This deserves a tribute! Not only the hippies themselves, but their graphic imagery as well. Enjoy!

This tee has a unique label on the left bottom which shows the one and only number within the series of 360 pieces we made of this collector’s item.

The number of the shirt will be in the range of 001/360 to 360/360.
